Element Dental Orthodontics Dr. Lauren Peterson

Dr. Lauren Peterson attended Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then went on to attend UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During her studies at Texas A&M, Dr. Peterson shadowed numerous dentists in town, worked at an orthodontics office, and went on dental mission trips in Nicaragua during her freshman and sophomore years. She fell in love with dentistry as an art and a science and knew that she was meant to be a dentist.

Dr. Peterson is looking forward to reaching as many people as she can in her new community and plans on participating in many volunteer dental events. She has learned many new and innovative techniques during her education and is looking forward to providing the best care to her patients.

Dr. Peterson met her husband, Rhett, while attending Texas A&M. They have been married since December 2019 and share a three-year-old cat named Cece. Outside of the office, she enjoys playing tennis, painting, sketching portraits, and attending football games.
