Meet Dr. Akshay Menon
Dr. Menon graduated from dental school at the University of California, San Francisco. His training, skills, and attention to detail equip him to handle a variety of dental needs, including preventive, restorative, surgical and cosmetic dental procedures. He was first introduced to dentistry by his mother, who, being a dedicated dentist herself, inspired in him an inherent passion for the profession.
Dr. Menon understands that anxiety can be a serious limitation that prevents people from getting the dental care they need and he is fully committed to improving oral health outcomes for his patients while striving to make every visit a positive experience for them. As an active member of the American Dental Association, East Texas Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry, he believes in staying updated with the advances in dentistry with a focus on evidence based patient-centered care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Menon enjoys long road trips, good hiking trails, exploring new places with his wife, and trying different cuisines. He also takes a keen interest in honing his cooking skills on the weekends. He believes that a smile is the first expression of happiness and a confident & healthy smile is a happy smile!
